NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 10.35 crore), Rajnish Wellness(number of shares traded: 2.21 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 1.35 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 0.78 crore), Yamini Invst(number of shares traded: 0.49 crore), Rhetan TMT(number of shares traded: 0.48 crore), Saianand Commercial(number of shares traded: 0.44 crore), Srestha Finvest(number of shares traded: 0.43 crore), Alstone Textiles(number of shares traded: 0.43 crore) and Unitech(number of shares traded: 0.40 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:49AM in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 258.21 points up at 25674.0, while BSE Sensex was up 890.37 points at 84075.17 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, JSW Steel Ltd.(up 3.86 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.47 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 3.15 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 2.44 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 2.16 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Cipla Ltd.(down 1.00 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 0.95 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.21 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 0.16 per cent) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.08 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
